SHIPPING, HANDLING, AND RETURNS

The price of each item does not include shipping, packaging, or delivery costs unless expressly indicated on the item details page. Shipping and delivery costs are not included in the product’s purchase prices. We do offer shipping services through qualified and insured shipping companies by supplying a list of local delivery companies and/or shippers. We do ship internationally, in selected locations only. Please contact our sales team for any information you may need about a customized shipping quote. Once a shipping quote has been approved by you, you will be contacted by the shipping company for details regarding shipping procedures and the estimated time of arrival. By purchasing through our company you acknowledge that responsibility of your purchase transfers to the Third Party delivery provider and or shipper of your choice at the time of pick up. Our company will not be liable for any damage, theft loss or otherwise that occurs during pick up, shipping, and or delivery of the item by Third Party providers. CGS Group Inc will not be liable for any delay incurred during the delivery/shipping of the merchandise as this delivery time solely depends on the Third Party delivery provider scheduling. Delivery invoices must be paid before the pick-up from our gallery. Responsibility for the goods transfers to the delivery provider at the time of pick up from our gallery. Rates vary depending on the type of delivery, delivery location, and other factors.

HOLDS & LOCAL PICK UP

We cannot place any vintage items on hold. If you purchase any item and the item has not been picked up after 30 days the merchandise is considered abandoned and will become the property of CGS Group, Inc. and no credit or refund will be issued. After the purchase of any item, the item must be picked up at our gallery within 7 days from the payment confirmation communication by CGS Group, Inc to the buyer, or storage fees will apply. Pick-up days are Monday through Friday 9 am - 3 pm. Customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of pick-up. The customer is responsible for the designated pick up / delivery company bringing all necessary packing material to ensure the safety of the merchandise during transportation (blankets, plastic wraps, tapes, dolly) Most bulk items require two or more persons to handle.

RETURNS 

All Sales Are Final. We do not offer returns and all merchandise is sold ‘as is’. Please contact our customer service specialists if you have any questions or concerns about a specific product. We will be happy to send you more photos, videos, and information about the piece. The majority of the items we sell on this website are in vintage condition, sometimes with original material and sometimes re-upholstered with new material, re-polish or refinished (except custom made to order new modern furniture, which is custom made to order by Italian furniture manufacturers and imported from Italy) Some wear is to be expected on vintage items especially wood and metal parts or light signs of wear on original condition products. CGS Group Inc neither assumes nor offers any warranty on any of the products featured on this website, including items described as “vintage” “refinished” “reupholstered” “newly upholstered” or “restored” items. For any questions or concerns about any of the products from this website please contact our customer service prior to purchase.

PAYMENTS

We accept cash, personal or business checks, wire transfer, Mastercard, and Visa. All payments made through credit cards will incur a 3.5% processing fee. You must provide us with your credit card information by phone only. For security reasons, please do not send any of your sensitive information via email. We reserve the right to hold pick up / delivery of all merchandise until payment has fully cleared. All orders delivered within the state of New York must pay New York State Sales Taxes of 8.875% unless we have a current resale certificate on file. All orders delivered outside the state of New York are tax-exempt. 

ADDITIONAL TERMS + DAMAGED GOODS

CGS Group Inc is not responsible for damage, theft, loss or otherwise that occurs after the item has been purchased.  CGS Group Inc is not responsible for damage, theft, loss, or otherwise, that occurs as a result of shipping or White Glove Delivery. CGS Group Inc is not responsible to refund, restore or replace inventory that may experience damage, theft, loss, or otherwise as a result of White Glove Shipping, Ground Shipping through Fed Ex, UPS or USPS, Local Third Party Delivery Providers, or CGS Group Inc staff assisting with load in or pick up. CGS Group Inc will assist in coordinating shipping as a service to our clients but the Third Party Delivery Providers bear full responsibility for the items. By completing a purchase, the client is responsible for any insurance deductibles related to filing an insurance claim.

If using a third-party receiver, clients acknowledge the receiving party takes full responsibility for the condition of pieces at the point of delivery if no defects are documented directly with the carrier. On request, customers may also coordinate their own shipping directly with the carrier of their choice by making all arrangements for pick-up and packaging requirements. Carriers arranged by customers take responsibility for item condition at the point of purchase.

We suggest that all clients inspect their items at the time of delivery and before the delivery providers leave the home. In the rare event that an item arrives damaged, we will be happy to assist you with filing a claim. In order for us to assist you we need you to inspect the merchandise at the time of delivery and before the delivery provider leaves the home, notify our office immediately and send our office detailed photos of the damage within 24 hours. Keep the original shipping package and take photos of the package. CGS GROUP INC is not responsible for goods damaged lost or stolen by Third Party Providers.
